Mission
Our mission is to provide a superior, values-based education from a biblical worldview that will enable students to thrive academically, physically, socially, and spiritually.
Education is vital to the future of our students. The students of today are the leaders of tomorrow and the foundations laid today will provide stability as they face the challenges that lie ahead. Character that is developed today will grow in strength and influence. With excellence as the standard, students will be instilled with the skills and discipline required to meet any challenge tomorrow may bring.
We are committed to producing well-trained, well-rounded students who will be able to live lives worthy of our Creator and who will fulfill his Great Commission.
History
Brooklake Christian School was founded in 1984 as a preschool with 35 students. Over the next eight years BCS experienced significant growth. Growth in enrollment meant the addition of grade offerings and in 1992, the first sixth grade class graduated. Continued growth also brought about the expansion of our preschool and elementary departments.
Over the years BCS has developed a reputation for excellence in academics. With our concentration on core subjects, our students average two grades above their current grade in annual SAT testing. Our programs are specifically designed to provide an outstanding academic education for each student.
Brooklake Christian School has also developed a reputation for outstanding community service. Giving back is part of the makeup of staff and students alike. Each year students support local food banks, senior centers, and sponsor needy children around the world.
For over twenty-five years, Brooklake Christian School has met the educational needs of our community. BCS operates as a department of Brooklake Community Church.
